The name of Lahore team is Lahore Qalandars. "Q" in the Qalandar will represent both Qatar and QALCO. Name was chosen to highlight Sufi culture of Lahore. Qalandar is the common term used in Pakistan for Sufi mystics or saints whose shrine attracts millions of devotes regardless of their religious affiliations.

Team logo represent the Sufi culture of the region. Logo features a Saint performing the famous Dervaish swirls with three stumps on the right side of the logo.
