Amad Butt is a first-class cricketer from Punjab, Pakistan.

A batsman capable of hitting against any type of bowling and a medium pacer able to swing the ball both ways, Butt has just begun the journey of his career. While he has played a limited role in the PSL he has shown the ability to handle pressure – including a last ball win over Peshawar Zalmi in PSL 2.

2016/17 was his breakout season in the domestic game. Playing for Habib Bank, Butt scored 379 runs in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy (second only to Imran Farhat among HBL players), at an average of 29. He was also HBL’s highest wicket taker, with 39 dismissals at an average of just 16.

He plays for Islamabad United team.
