Chris Gayle‘s on-air flirtations with Channel TEN reporter Mel McLaughlin is cycling in news ticker, however now another woman “who requested anonymity” had claimed the West Indies batting star had indecently exposed himself to her in a dressing room at the Sydney Cricket Ground during the World Cup.

The Lahore Qalandars cricketer Chris Gayle could be expelled from the ongoing Big Bash League if Cricket Australia’s investigations into an alleged act of indecent exposure during last year’s Cricket World Cup prove the incident actually occurred, according to media reports. Following Gayle’s on-air flirtations with Channel TEN reporter Mel McLaughlin, a Sydney Morning Herald report said on Wednesday that a woman “who requested anonymity” had since claimed the West Indies batting star had indecently exposed himself to her in a dressing room at the Sydney Cricket Ground last February.

The Australian woman said she entered the dressing room thinking it was empty only to discover Gayle, who dropped his towel to partially expose his genitals while asking: “Are you looking for this?” Gayle was wrapped in a towel, which she says he pulled down to partially expose his genitals to her while saying to her: “Are you looking for this?”

It is understood West Indies team manager Richie Richardson was told about the incident, but Gayle was not named. Richardson then sent an email to all West Indies players demanding women working around the team be treated with respect. The new revelations came as the Melbourne Renegades announced they would fine Gayle $10,000 for his controversial live interview with Channel Ten’s Mel McLaughlin on Monday night. Gayle asked an uncomfortable McLaughlin if she wanted to come out for a drink with him, before quickly adding “don’t blush, baby”.
